Tarakan, 25 June 2022 \u2014 Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan verified Bulungan language vocabulary data in Tarakan City on 24 to 25 June 2022. The verification is adressed for the data collection that undertook in February 2022. The team consists of the Head of Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan, Halimi Hadibrata, M.Pd., Abd Rahman, S.S., and Suindah Sari, S.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team met the Viceroy of the Bulungan Sultanate as the General Chairperson of the Bulungan Family Association of Tarakan City at Jalan Yos Sudarso No 54, Tarakan for goodwill visitation and verify the vocabulary data of the Bulungan language. The team verified 420 Bulungan vocabularies that have been collected in order to obtain precise vocabulary data on writing, pronunciation, and meaning. In addition, the team also invented the additional vocabularies to meet the number of vocabulary, up to 1.100 vocabularies, that will propose into the KBBI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those results will be discussed in the regional language commission session (SKBD) to determine the feasibility and accuracy of the concept of data. As the result, those indigenous language vocabulary data will be proposed to enrich Indonesian vocabulary into the KBBI. Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan proposes indigenous language vocabulary into the KBBI in accordance with its main task for developing the Indonesian language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
