Samarinda, 6 May 2023<\/strong> — The Awards Night of the Language Ambassadors 2023 for East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan Province lively held at the Atrium of Samarinda Square Mall, Jalan M. Yamin, Samarinda on 6 May 2023 at 19.00-21.00. The awards night was a series of the Selection of Language Ambassadors from 10 April to 6 May 2023. The selection went through several stages.\u00a0 It started from the elimination stage for 70 participants comprising 49 women and 21 men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pandu Pratama Putra, Chairman of the committee, reported the preliminary stage yielded 30 finalists with details of 15 women and 15 men. The finalists participated in the briefing section online and offline. Furthermore, they ran to the final stage, namely the final round which was held on 5 May 2023 at the Amaris Hotel, Samarinda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several representatives from partner institutions such as the Tourism Agency of East Kalimantan Province, the Cultural Park Office of East Kalimantan Province, and Balai Guru Penggerak (the Center for Teacher Activator) of East Kalimantan presented at the event. In addition, families and supporters of the finalists, as well as mall visitors, enthusiastically watched the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, the winners were announced. The winners of the Language Ambassadors 2023 of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan Province are as followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          In his remark, the Head of the Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province, Halimi Hadibrata, advised the winners to perform their best at the national level. In addition, he stated that the thirty male and female finalists of the Language Ambassador Election 2023 of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan Province has listed as members of the alumni association of language ambassadors (IKA Dubas) Kaltimtara 2023. Therefore, he hoped that the language ambassadors can contribute to and support the Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province in cultivating language and literature for young generations.
