Head of Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province and several staff attended General Election Commission (KPU) of East Kalimantan Province invitation as speakers in the renewing Indonesian language usage activity. It was held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the hall of KPU of East Kalimantan Province in Samarinda. It was a result of an audience of Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province to KPU of East Kalimantan Province, on December 6, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On his remarks, Head of Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province emphasized on the importance of public positive attitudes in using Indonesian language according to 1945 Constitution and Law Number 24 of 2009 mandate. At the moment, three other speakers, namely Nur Bety, Abd. Rahman, and Ali Kusno delivered linguistic explanation based on KPU’s request and will be further elaborated at the next meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At hall, the conference was attended by the commissioners and the secretariat employees of KPU of East Kalimantan Province. In other side, the commissioners and secretariats employees from regencies and cities’ KPU followed it virtually. Approximately 100 participants was accompanied. Participants gave positive responses, especially on the importance in mastering the Indonesian language and applicate it in accordance with the functions and tasks of institutions, such as KPU. Also, it discussed to involve Regional Officer for Language in East Kalimantan Province in the working group for composing legal product at KPU of East Kalimantan Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
