It addressed monitoring and evaluating the mentors&#8217; and teachers&#8217; efforts when revitalizing the Kutai Malay language and knowing the students\u2019 readiness to participate in FTBI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The monitoring and evaluation took place at SD Negeri 001 Melak, SMP Negeri 1 Melak, and SD Negeri 003 Melak. At SD Negeri 001 Melak, Sahminah (the Headmaster), Sri Sumarni (the mentor), trainers, teachers, and students were involved in the event. At SMP Negeri 1 Melak, Yatinah (the Vice Headmaster), Lola Mertalia Ime (the mentor), trainers, teachers, and students attended the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, at SD Negeri 003 Melak, the Team is accompanied by Hj. Dewi Hairiah (School Supervisor of the West Kutai Regency Education and Culture Office), Hj. Kusnawati (the Head,) Abdul Haris (the mentor), trainer, teachers, and students.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At that moment, the elementary students performed Kutai Malay poetry, fairy tales, and tingkilan songs. Meanwhile, junior students performed Kutai Malay speeches, tarsul, and single comedy. The students also performed traditional dances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, it showed that mentors and teachers have well implemented to revitalize the language. Training and learning regional languages for students has also begun in preparation to perform at FTBI.
