The village is home to three ethnic groups with well-preserved cultures: the Kenyah, Kutai, and Modang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The team was welcomed by Tanjung Manis Hamlet Head Kirin, who supported the initiative and helped coordinate with native speakers to gather comprehensive data for the Kenyah Language and Literary Diversity Map. The project aims to thoroughly map and document the local Kenyah language and literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The team documented the data using photography and video graphy, supplemented by questionnaires to provide detailed descriptions of the linguistic and literary findings. Ultimately, this project aims to ensure that regional languages and literature across East Kalimantan are fully mapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Data collection took place at the Long Tesak Village Office Hall and a local church. The team interviewed key informants who are native speakers fluent in the Kenyah Lepoq Tau dialect. These informants included Henzel, Liwing Ingan, Dau Kirung, and Aren Liman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collected materials encompassed linguistic data, including basic Swadesh and cultural vocabulary, phrases, and simple sentences, as well as oral literature documented directly from the informants.
