Poetry Reading Competition for Elementary School Students in East Kalimantan

Samarinda, 25 October 2022 — In commemoration of the 2022 Language and Literature Month, the Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan  Province held various competitions, one was a Poetry Reading Competition for Elementary School Students in East Kalimantan with the theme “Bangkit Bersama (Rise Up Together)”. It was carried out on 25 October 2022 at Nusantara Room, Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan  Province. The event began with an opening which was officially opened by the Coordinator for Language and Literature Cultivation, Nur Bety, S.Pd. The event continued with a technical meeting. Three judges guided the TC. They were Aminudin Rifai, S.S., Diyan Kurniawati, S.S., M.Hum., and Dadang Ari Murtono.

In this activity, 46 participants attended of 50 students who have registered. Participants came from elementary schools in Samarinda and other districts/cities in East Kalimantan. As a result, the judges decided on 10 winners as follows.
