Samarinda, 26 October 2022 — Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province, to enliven the Language and Literature Month in 2022, held various competitions. The Indonesian Language Quiz for High School Students in East Kalimantan was one of them. The quiz was carried out on 26 October 2022 and took place at the Nusantara Room. It was officially opened by the Coordinator for Language and Literature Cultivation, Nur Bety, S.Pd. As quiz judges, namely Purwanti, M. Hum., Nur Bety, S.Pd., and Nurul Masfufah, M.Pd.
In this quiz, 48 of 50 participants attended. They came from SMA/MA/SMK in Samarinda and other regencies/cities in East Kalimantan. As a result, the judges decided 10 winners as follows.

2nd Runner Up, Jenny Fitria Manda from SMK Negeri 15 Samarinda
3rd Runner Up, Mochammad Revangga Prada Rakhasiwi from SMA Istiqamah Muhammadiyah Samarinda
