The 2024 General Election stages have rolled. Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province efforts to contribute in the 2024 General Election stages according to its role and function. Saturday, 19 November 2022, a member of KKLP of Cultivation and Legal Language attended an invitation as a speaker in the Coordination Meeting for Capacity Building and Competency in the Preparation of Legal Products for General Election Commission (KPU) in Provincial and District/City Levels of East Kalimantan. The meeting was held at the Blue Sky Hotel, Balikpapan. Ali Kusno, as a guest speaker, presented material on the Appropriate and Correct Use of Indonesian in Drafting Regulations. Legal and Monitoring Divisions members of the Regency/City KPU in East Kalimantan Province participated in the activity. In this activity, participants agreed to involve the linguists in the Working Group for regulations drafting within KPU of East Kalimantan Province as a preparation for the 2024 General Election stages.
Furthermore, on Friday, 25 November 2022, a member of KKLP of Cultivation and Legal Language delivered the material at the technical mentoring session (Bimtek) for the Preparation of Legal Products and Official Letter by Authority at Samarinda City KPU. Bimtek was held at Ibis Hotel Samarinda. The activity was attended by commissioners and secretariat staff of the Samarinda KPU.
On 21 November 2022, the Head of the Regional Office for Language in east Kalimantan Province, Halimi Hadibrata, and a member of the KKLP of Cultivation and Legal Language, Ali Kusno, took an audience with the North Kalimantan Province KPU and Bawaslu in Tanjung Selor, Bulungan Regency. The audience aimed to provide information and understanding about legal language services that were conducted by the Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province to support the success of the 2024 General Election stages.
