Samarinda, 12 May 2023 — Friday, 12 May 2023, Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province attended by Ali Kusno and Nur Bety received an expert staff Marlan Usmani from the Legislative Council (DPRD) of North Kalimantan Province. On that occasion, the Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province discussed and coordinated the planned activities on 15–17 May 2023 to present the Head of the Center for Cultivation of Language and Literature, Agency for Language Development and Cultivation. Several agendas will involve the DPRD of North Kalimantan Province, namely the proposal for Regional Regulations on Regional Language Preservation and the plan to establish a Regional Office for Language in North Kalimantan Province.
In addition, Marlan, as a lecturer at the North Kalimantan University, coordinated the plans for a public lecture event at the North Kalimantan University on 15 May 2023 with guest speaker Abdul Khak, Head of the Center for Cultivation of Language and Literature.
