Tanah Grogot, 10 August 2023 — On 10 August 2023, the Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province conducted monitoring activities in the Paser Regency. It coincided with the Gebyar Museum Sadurengas 2023 event organized by the Agency of Education and Culture of Paser Regency. Gebyar Museum is a series of traditional Paser competition events, namely, sempuri, betore, speech in Paser language, belogo, and Paser regional dance.
The monitoring team was welcomed by Surpiani, S.E. the Head of Culture Section, Agency of Education and Culture of Paser Regency. It took place at the Sadurengas Museum Gebyar venue in Paser Belengkong. On that occasion, the team had the opportunity to see the implementation of betore and sempuri competitions and regional dances. According to Surpiani, these competitions were part of the regency-level selection, the winners will represent Paser Regency at the provincial level. (am)
