The Commemoration of Bulan Bahasa dan Sastra 2024

Samarinda, October 30, 2024—The Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province held several competitions on October 21-24, 2024, to enliven the Bulan Bahasa dan Sastra 2024 with the theme Smart in Language for the Golden Generation. The competitions were held at the Atrium of Mall City Centrum and were officially opened by Halimi Hadibrata, the Head of the Office.

The series of competitions were as follows. On the first day, there was a Poster Competition for SMP/MTs Students and a Language Agile Competition for SMA/SMK/MA Students. On the second day, Poetry Reading Competition for SD Students and Sing a Poetry Competition for Physical Disability People. On the third day, the Scientific Oration Competition for College Students and the Social Media Content Competition. Finally, the Book Review Competition for SD/MI Students and the Poetry Competition for BIPA Learners.

In the end, Misriani, M.Pd., the general chairman, hoped the participants would be more enthusiastic about loving, preserving, and internationalizing the Indonesian language and literature.
