Tenggarong, September 18, 2026 — Efforts to promote proper language use across government and private institutions in Kutai Kartanegara Regency have entered the evaluation phase. A team led by the Head of the General Affairs Division, Rahmad Hidayat, is currently conducting on site visits to 15 institutions to monitor and assess the use of the Indonesian language in official documents and public spaces or signage.
During these visits, the team provides direct guidance on language compliance, specifically focusing on grammar and spelling in official correspondence, as well as the correct usage of Indonesian on institutional signage and public space displays.
A primary objective of this evaluation is to deliver the findings from the analysis of documents collected during the first half of the year. The results have been compiled into a comprehensive First Semester Report to provide targeted feedback and recommendations for each institution. Concurrently, the team is also gathering official documents for the second half of the year, which institutions can submit online via a designated upload link.
