Language and literature services are the key for developing, fostering, and protecting the language. Therefore, facilities and infrastructures to support the services are needed. Excellent service, both in the administration and delivering of the latest information and publications, is an institutional service forms that are fast, accurate, and close to the community.

The East Kalimantan Language Office (mentioned as the Office) through the socialization of internal bureaucratic reforms (RBI), corruption-free area (WBK), and clean and servicing bureaucratic area (WBBM), on 24th September 2019, called for 30 employees of the Office in providing facilities, resources, and operasional procedures. It used as basis for optimizing and improving the quality of language and literature services in administration, information, and publications at the Office.

Secretary of Agency for Language Development and Books M. Abdul Khak, as keynote speaker, stated in his presentation on the importance of excellent services of language and literature to people who need language and literature information. Consequently, the Office is expected to proceed with WBK and WBBM services level, the Secretary has said.

In the meantime, Head of the East Kalimantan Language Office Anang Santosa hoped that the Office employees can understand and recognize the main steps in building integrity zone (ZI) and areas of change. He went on to say that the bureaucratic reforms’ perform is conducted in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture’s mission.

At the end of the activity, participants drafted operational standards in pertaining to functions and tasks of the Office.
