West Kutai, 8 September 2022 — The Monitoring Team of Revitalization of Regional Language (furthermore stated as RBD) for Kutai Malay monitored the implementation of RBD in Melak District, West Kutai. It aimed to observe the implementation progress of Kutai Malay language RBD. Besides, it was conducted to look closer at the preparation of Festival Tunas Bahasa Ibu (FTBI/Festival of Mother Language for Younger) at the regency and provincial levels. The monitoring was the RBD implementation series in East Kalimantan Province. That took place at 3 schools, such as State Junior High School 1 Melak, State Elementary School 002 Melak, and State Elementary School 003 Melak. It involved 3 headmasters, 1 supervisor, 10 teachers, and 155 students. Students and teachers practiced poetry, rhymes, fairy tales, tarsul, and speech. The RBD, in Melak, ran well and was full of enthusiasm.
