East Kutai, 6 September 2022 — Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province conducted monitoring of Revitalization of Regional Language (furthermore stated as RBD) for Kenyah language at Indigenous Community of Rindang Benua Village, East Kutai, on 6 September 2022. It took place at the village hall. Several main teachers, community figures, and children were involved. Indigenous communities led RBD implementation by learning activities. The main teachers enthusiastic transmitted the indigenous language to the community, especially to students. At several community meetings or church meetings, the main teachers campaigned the Revitalization of Regional Language. Main teachers trained children by gathering them at the main teacher’s house in turns and sometimes in the village hall. Village leaders and traditional figures supported the RBD activities.
