Long Kali, 22 August 2023 — The Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province on 22 August 2023 carried out an activity to monitor the implementation of Regional Language Revitalisation for the Paser language in Long Kali, Paser Regency. It aimed to find out the progress and the preparation of students to participate in the FTBI at the regency and provincial levels.
Monitoring was carried out at two places, namely SDN 001 Long Kali and SMPN 1 Long Kali. The event was attended by 2 principals, 1 vice principal, 10 teachers, and 113 students. The students enthusiastically performed their talents in the Paser language according to the material taught by the teacher. The elementary school students performed betikao (poetry), betore, and sempuri (storytelling). the junior high school students performed speech, betore, and solo/stand-up comedy. The event also featured the Paser traditional dances. (dk)
