Samarinda — The Head of Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province officially visit to the State Islamic University of Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda (UINSI Samarinda) to talk for partnership. At that moment, Head of Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province Anang Santosa is accompanied by Nur Bety and Muhammad Erwin. UINSI Samarinda is represented by Vice Rector for Academic and Institutional Development Muhammad Nasir, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Partnership M. Abzar D, and Head of Public Relations UINSI Agus Prajitno. The UINSI Samarinda agreed to carry out partnership. It would be strengthened with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and signed by the Head of Agency for Language Development and Cultivation and the Rector of State Islamic University of Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda.
The Head of Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province offered several views that could be allied, such as program to prioritize the state language, UKBI, and BIPA Program. Referring to the Head explanations, UINSI Samarinda added that this collaboration also needs to be synchronized with the three pillars of higher education at UINSI Samarinda.
To synchronize these two things, the Public Relations Team of UINSI Samarinda and the Public Relations Team of Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan Province agreed to immediately carry out further coordination to prepare or drafting the MoU. The MoU will be drafted based on the improvement of human resources goals, development, and research especially in terms of language and literature, as well as a form of community service. (PR/ed)
