September 9, 2021 — Language face at school is a positive attitude image on the use of Indonesian as the State Language at the school. The National Language Face Award (PWBS) for Senior High School 2021 is an Agency for Language Development and Cultivation, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology appreciation for schools that have prioritized the State Language in the area of school.
This year, the Senior High School of Pupuk Kaltim Foundation is one of the 16 nominees for the National PWBS participants that represent East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan Province. As the final assessment, the national verifier team conducted the factual verification at the Senior High School of Pupuk Kaltim Foundation in Bontang on Saturday, September 4, 2021. The verifier team composed of Hidayat Widiyanto and Bayu Permana Sukma. They verified 10 language objects which are sent to the central committee and, also, other language objects in the school area. Those language objects are school signboards, name of the building, name of public facilities, name of the meeting room, name of the product/service, name of the officer position, name of general direction/sign, and banners or other information tools.
In addition, the team conducted a brief interview with Drs. Rakim, M.Pd., the Principal of Senior High School of Pupuk Kaltim Foundation. They tried to find out how he performs the priority of the state language in the school area. In this activity, Evi Melila Sari and Ali Kusno, Regional Office for Language in East Kalimantan staff, accompanied and helped the national verifier team.
We hope that the Senior High School of Pupuk Kaltim Foundation will get the best result and make East Kalimantan Province proud at the national PWBS event level in 2021. (em)
